The boys are back, baby– and so is their manager, Ari Gold. Ahead of the big premiere of the ‘Entourage’ movie, we caught up with Jeremy Piven who was kind enough to share with us his favorite things about his character, the fast-talking Ari.
Entourage the movie is set to premiere on June 3, which means we’re almost reunited with all our favorite dudes. Of course, one can’t think of Entourage, the 8-season HBO series, without their mind immediately going to Hollywood super-agent, Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). At the Los Angeles premiere of the film, we caught up with Jeremy and he revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY 5 reasons he loves Ari. Yup, he used the words “drama queen.” Check out the full list!
4. He’s fun to play: “I just get to dig in and throw these temper tantrums,” he said.
3. Ari explores the full spectrum: “Also what I think takes it to the next level with this movie is that he’s desperately trying to be a good guy and good family man and to make the marriage work and be evolved,” said Jeremy.
2. Ari is experimenting with spirituality in the new movie: “He’s listening to spirituality tapes while losing his mind,” Jeremy said. “[Series creator] Doug Ellin is a genius.”
1. Mr. Gold is complicated. “[Ari has a] duality where [he] gets to go to a new level because he’s trying to hold it together,” he said.
Jeremy also shared with us how excited he is just to be a part of this film and franchise. “I am really proud of this movie and I just want people to see it,” he said. “It will answer all of the questions on why we went through everything we went through.”
