Is there anything Blake Lively can’t do? The actress, business owner and brand new mom is adding one more job to her impressive roster of responsibilities: fashion designer! The blonde beauty took to social media to debut some stylish pieces from her very first collections.
Blake Lively, 27, has cemented herself as a style icon, so it’s only natural that the Age Of Adaline star would take a stab at making a career out of her best-dressed status. Just as you’d imagine, Blake’s designs are beyond stunning. The 27-year-old has co-created digs that aren’t just adorable; some are eco-friendly, too! I want to share your photos!! #PRSRV so I see it 💕👗💕, ” Blake wrote on May 28, with a pic of her very first frock: a retro-inspired number consisting of a keyhole white tie-top and a light-pink printed skirt. #SuperCute.
This dress is just one part of a dozen-piece capsule collection the actress co-designed with the environmentally conscious brand, Amour Vert. It will be sold exclusively on her lifestyle website, Preserve. As of now, two styles are available for pre-order before they ship on June 5. Blake promises to share even more designs in the following weeks, including tee shirts that lend a helping hand to Mother Nature. For every shirt bought, a tree will be planted it its honor. Consider us sold!
But wait — that’s not all! The former Gossip Girl star has another collection coming up — and she blessed us with a sneak peek of it on the very same day. Yep, she’s also teamed up with the uber-trendy Sam & Lavi label, creating those beautifully bold, leafy trousseaus.
“I co-designed this collection too with the trusty Sam & Lavi,” she captioned the pic. “I’m just boasting now because you guys fluffed me so much on the last post. Beware: don’t feed the ducks flattery. It dangerously swells their ego. And tummies apparently. Someone pass the spanx.”
