Following molestation charges of Josh Duggar, the fallout continues as to what will become of the TLC reality show he stars on, ’19 Kids & Counting.’ However, the network has not yet cancelled the show completely– and we’ve got EXCLUSIVE details as to why!
On May 21, the family at the center of TLC’s hit reality show, 19 Kids & Counting, became the center of major controversy as shocking molestation charges against the eldest son, Josh Duggar, 27, were leaked to the public. Immediately, backlash from fans of the show and TLC viewers was virulent, and the network responded by yanking all reruns of the show from the schedule. And yet, while a cancellation seemed imminent, TLC has yet to officially announce the show’s end, and we have EXCLUSIVE info as to if and when we should expect the show to be cancelled.
Will TLC Cancel ’19 Kids & Counting’?
The clock continues to tick by as to whether TLC will cancel 19 Kids & Counting, and it seems like the net is getting closer to pulling the plug.
“With all the advertisers running away in droves, the current incarnation of the show is looking more and more of being cancelled,” a source revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY. “TLC will make the announcement by next week.”
Woah! More surprisingly, the announcement would come on the heels of the network’s attempts to actually keep the show on the air.
TLC Has Had A Change Of Heart
Sources previously revealed to us that, “TLC is doing every possible thing to keep the show on the air in some format and they are even considering a spinoff. They want the family to be in the TLC family in some way shape or form and only cut ties with Josh.”
Apparently, though, with advertisers now pulling out, the Duggar family’s reality show days are numbered.
Do you think TLC should nncel the show?
