Nina Dobrev: Is Austin Stowell The One?

Rumors have been flying that former Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev has been getting hot and heavy with actor Austin Stowell. The 30-year-old actress first sparked rumors on May 11, when she posted Instagram pics of herself goofing off with Austin in a photo booth. Then, her fans went into overdrive after the pair was spotted packing on some major PDA, and allegedly kissing at the Indianapolis 500 race on May 24. So has the brunette beauty finally found love again? Well, not exactly.

As of right now, there’s nothing serious going on between Nina and the 30-year-old Whiplash actor. “They are having fun hanging out and he is more into her than she is into him. She really is interested in just being friends and hyper focused on her career,” sources tell Hollywoodlife EXCLUSIVELY.

“She is a tomboy and loves hanging out with guys — it’s less drama. But she isn’t stupid either. She knows that the drama starts when feelings get involved, so she has warned Austin that she isn’t romantically interested right now. Nina’s most high profile relationship, which was with her TVD co-star Ian Somerhalder, ended in 2013, so it would be great to see her find love again. But as of right now, she’s taking it slow and isn’t ready to jump into a new relationship.

Ian went on to marry actress Nikki Reed in April, breaking the hearts of many Nina/Ian shippers around the world. However, the actress had nothing but kind words for her ex on his wedding day. “Positivity. Love. Happiness.
