John Stamos Disses Olsen Twins For Not Returning To ‘Fuller House’
Shade thrown! Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are sadly not returning to ‘Fuller House,’ and John seemingly agrees that if it weren’t for ‘Full House,’ they wouldn’t have a career. See his diss here!
While we’re still disappointed that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, 28, will not be reprising their role as Michelle Tanner in Netflix’s Full House spin-off, Fuller House, it seems like John Stamos, 51, is literally heartbroken over the news, too. However, the actor also seemingly dissed the Olsen twins for not returning, by retweeting a tweet which says they wouldn’t have a career if not for Full House!

After news of the Olsen twins not returning to Fuller House was confirmed by executive producer Robert L. Boyett, John retweeted:

Oh no! We understand that he’s upset, as we’re still digesting the news ourselves. Actually, he’s more than upset, he’s heartbroken that the twins are not returning.

However, John, who is producing the series, went on to assure everyone that Fuller House is not a “money gig” but rather something the cast wants to do to give back to their fans — while also adding it’s a shame not everyone shares that opinion (ahem, Mary-Kate and Ashley).
Just so you reporters know – this is not a money gig for any of us- quite the opposite – we want to give the fans what they deserve for supporting us for so many years- we all just want to have fun – do it in a classy way on netflix and have a good time- sad that a few don’t share the rest of the cast’s opinion – i can only wish them the best – JS
While Mary-Kate and Ashley didn’t completely rule out the possibility of being in the spin-off, it seems like any and all talks they had about returning fell through.
‘Full House’ Spinoff Feud
This isn’t the first time John has dissed Mary-Kate and Ashley over Fuller House.
After the Olsen twins claimed that John had not actually reached out to them to be in the spinoff, John took to Twitter to set the record straight. He tweeted a link to an article with what the twins’ said, writing, “I call bulls–t.” However, he later deleted the tweet.
