Guess you can call it love at first sight! After Britt Nilsson was kicked off ‘The Bachelorette,’ one of the show’s hunky suitors immediately ran after her — and now they’re in love? Yep, ‘Bachelorette’ reject Britt is still dating Brady Troops, allegedly!
Britt Nilsson, 27, was crushed when she was forced to leave The Bachelorette after this season’s group of guys decided they wanted Kaitlyn Bristowe, 28, to stay instead. However, there is a silver lining in Britt’s sad story. After she left in tears, contestant Brady Troops, 33, followed her because he fell head over heels for her after the first night they met. And now they’re a serious couple, according to a new report!
Britt Nilsson Dating Brady Troops After Being Kicked Off ‘The Bachelorette’
It was hard watching Chris Harrison, 43, break the news to Britt that most of the men in the house wanted to vie for Kaitlyn’s heart instead of hers. But as they say, everything happens for a reason and Britt’s buh-bye to The Bachelorette may have actually given her a true chance at love — with Brady!
“Brady and Britt are still together,” an insider tells Us Weekly of the couple. “They’re very happy.”
After meeting while filming the premiere episode, the pair kept their romance alive by secretly attending a Nashville Predators hockey game, the report also claims. Britt, who openly admitted she was upset after not being chosen as the season 11 Bachelorette during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, kept mum on the current status of her relationship with Brady.
“Did he find you?” Jimmy asked the 27-year-old, who eventually spilled: “Uh, I mean, yeah… in my hotel room, crying, I guess Chris Harrison felt bad about having let me go, so, he gave Brady my [hotel room number]. It is pretty smooth, it’s very gentlemanly. I thought it was sweet…He comes to my door and I was very surprised. It will be on the show next week.”
While Britt has recovered from being booted off The Bachelorette by sparking up a relationship with Brady, it doesn’t mean the rejection still didn’t sting at first.
“There were a lot of confusing emotions,” Britt told People after her elimination. “I felt like I had connections with some people, and it felt like a shame that since it wasn’t the majority, I don’t get to meet any of them. It was a pretty rough night. I was a little numb, and then of course the other feelings started coming. I wasn’t chosen, that’s rejection. That’s kind of embarrassing.”
Poor, Britt — but we’re glad she’s been able to turn lemons into lemonade by finding love with Brady!
