Kylie — what are you doing? A new report says that you’ve secretly said ‘yes’ to your guy Tyga’s marriage proposal. Kylie — you’re just 17 — way too young to make any decision about marriage!
Kylie Jenner & Tyga Getting Married? — She Shouldn’t Do It
A new report in InTouch magazine says that you may even walk down the aisle on your 18th birthday on August 10th.
“Kylie accepted Tyga’s proposal a few weeks ago and made the announcement to her family,” a source told the magazine. “She wants to get married as soon as she turns 18 in August…[Kylie] told her friends that Tyga gave her a ‘symbolic ring’ for now,” claims the report. Now, we’re also hearing at HollywoodLife.com that you do really want to marry Tyga.
“Kylie absolutely loves the idea of getting engaged. She wants the ring…she wants a serious commitment from Tyga especially after the Blac Chyna texting fiasco,” an insider has told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
We hear that you want this relationship to last a lifetime. “Marriage is the ultimate bond between two people and she absolutely wants that with Tyga,” adds another source. Not only that, you apparently want an “enormous ring”, too. “She is obsessed with Kim [Kardashian]‘s ring and wants something even bigger. She has dreamed about having a huge diamond ring since she was a little girl,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com.
Kylie Jenner: You Don’t Need To Rush Into Marriage At 17
Here’s the thing, Kylie. The fact that you’re even thinking about having an engagement ring that’s bigger than Kim’s is an indication that you’re not old enough to really understand how big a commitment marriage is.
We’re talking a lifetime here. Do you really feel ready at 17 to say yes for life to Tyga, 25? Do you two have the same values, interests and outlooks on big personal issues in life? What are your life goals? Do you even know that yet at 17? Does Tyga know that at 25? Twenty-five is young, too!
Do you agree on whether you want a family? How big and when do you think is the right time to have more children? Tyga already is dad to King Cairo.
Have you talked about how you’ll combine family life and careers?
Kylie, you’re just finishing your high school studies. You have your whole life ahead of you. You don’t need to rush into an engagement or marriage.
You are dealing with so many emotional issues in your life right now. Your parents, Bruce and Kris Jenner, divorced just recently; your dad is transitioning into womanhood after revealing that he is transgender, and your brother Rob is going through a serious depression.
You’re probably dealing with a lot of confusing emotions right now, too.
Kylie Jenner: Enjoy Your Time With Tyga, But Don’t Get Married Yet
This is not the right time, for many reasons, to get engaged at 17 even if you’re upset by being publicly dissed by Tyga’s ex, Blac Chyna. Blac’s attacks and her reported plan to try and get sole custody of Tyga’s son, King Cairo, 2, will only put you and Tyga under more pressure. Pressure that’s not good for a young relationship, let alone a marriage.
So, Kylie, enjoy your relationship with Tyga, but do not get engaged. There is plenty of time to think about engagement rings and marriage, when you are much older!
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers — should Kylie NOT get engaged to Tyga? Let me know.
