No, we will see YOU now, Mr. Grey – all of you. Jaime Dornan kept fans from seeing everything in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ but now he’s been reportedly offered a lot of green to show it all — and we mean ALL — in ‘Fifty Shades Darker.’
How much money would it take for you to take off all your clothes? For Jamie Dornan, 33, no amount was enough for him to show every bare inch of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. Audiences were left wanting more — so much more! Now, the sequel’s producers are reportedly willing to do whatever they can in order to get Jamie to go all the way on screen!
Jamie Dornan: Nude In ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ for $1.5 Million Dollars?
“They’re offering Jamie a bonus of $1.5 million to do a full-frontal scene in Fifty Shades Darker,” a source told Star magazine in the May 18 issue. That is an amount even Christian Grey would find impressive. But if Jamie thinks his modesty is worth more than that, producers are reportedly willing to pay more!
“That’s just a starting figure,” the source reveals, adding, “Jamie would be crazy not to consider it.”
Maybe, but Jamie and his Fifty Shades costar, Dakota Johnson, know how much they’re worth to the franchise. The two demanded raises after the first film’s success. They were reportedly paid a relatively modest $250,000 for their roles, while the film went on to gross over $569 million dollars!
Still, for Jamie to turn Fifty Shades into Magic Mike might require more than a payday. Producers understand this and have promised that any full nudity will be tasteful – for Fifty Shades, at least.
“They have assured Jamie that it won’t be overt but more of a brief tease – and he’ll have some creative control over how it’s handled,” the insider told the magazine.
For those who loved Fifty Shades of Grey but wanted to see more, there’s some good news! The DVD of the movie will contain 10 more minutes of sex on the Director’s Cut. The theatrical cut had only 20 minutes of on-screen sex between Christian and Anastasia, so this bonus footage should hold fans over until the sequel, reportedly set for a 2017 release. That’s so far away! Thankfully, the DVD/Blu-ray will be available on May 8.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Jamie go all the way in Fifty Shades Darker? Or should he keep that one part of him private?
