Can you say gorgeous?! Kim and Jennifer brought their A-game to the 2015 Met Gala in barely-there ball gowns that totally showed off their famous butts. Pretty racy, ladies!
We expected Kim Kardashian, 34, and Jennifer Lopez, 45, and Beyoncé, 32 to show up at the 2015 Met Gala in New York City on May 4 looking completely stunning, but we didn’t exactly expect this. All three superstars have one big thing in common — and they know how to use it, and use it well. Their beautiful, intricate gowns at the event left little to the imagination, and pitted the ladies in the battle of the booty. They all looked amazing!
Kim Kardashian & Jennifer Lopez Show Off Amazing Backsides At Met Gala
What a bunch of breathtaking beauties! Lucky for us, Kanye West, 37, broke the Met Gala’s cell phone ban and snapped a photo of the Jennifer and Kim from behind while they strutted arm-in-arm through the Metropolitan Museum of Art with her “idol” JLo, which Kim promptly posted to Instagram.
The shot shows off their backsides and their elaborate gowns, dripping with crystals, feathers and jewels. They look like something that could be featured in the museum itself, don’t you think?
Jennifer’s deep red, off-shoulder Versace gown appeared to have a bejeweled dragon on front, appropriate for a woman who looked as hot as fire. Underneath the intricate design was a combination of nude and red ombre netting fabric, reaching down to the floor, but the most striking feature was the rather large cutout on her right hip that flaunted her world famous butt. And made it known that there’s nothing coming between JLo and her Versace.
It makes sense. If you have a hit like the totally catchy song called “Booty,” you’ve gotta have the wardrobe to match.
Kim’s Inspiration And A Queen Bey
Kim’s sheer white Roberto Cavalli number was decked with crystals and glamorous white feathers, and lots and lots of racy blank space, baby. If anyone has as famous a booty as Jennifer, it’s Kimmy K. Maybe more?
While people have been grumbling that her ensemble looks a little too like Beyoncé’s black and purple outfit from the 2012 Met Gala, it’s not the case. Kim has said herself that the look was inspired by Cher‘s dress at the very first Met Gala in 1971. History and angelic fashion. We love it!
But even if she didn’t usurp the Queen Bey, there’s still no taking away her spotlight. Beyoncé may have been one of the last to arrive on the red carpet, but she still made sure to make up for lost time as much as possible. The Queen maybe wore the sheerest gown of the night, consisting of nothing more than nude netting and some strategically placed colored jewels. God bless Givenchy!
