After months of rehearsing, costume fittings and anticipation, NeNe finally had her big broadway moment on the finale of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta!’
On the finale of RHOA, NeNe stepped out on stage as the evil-step mother in the NYC broadway show, Cinderella! Also, Apollo called Peter from jail — yikes! Find out what he said and how NeNe did on stage in our full finale recap below!
‘RHOA’ Finale — NeNe Debuts On Broadway
Days before her big debut, NeNe stepped on the Cinderella broadway stage for the first time and she got super emotional — we don’t blame her! She really worked hard to get where she is today.
Meanwhile, Cynthia and her husband Peter were hard at work fixing up their new bar and Kenya was hard at work on her TV pilot “Life Twirls On” — everybody is making moves, we love it!
Kandi and Todd went to Kandi’s mom’s housewarming party, even though Todd did NOT want to go — he doesn’t exactly get along her mother, as we all know. At the family gathering, Kandi dropped the bomb that she was considering going to LA with Todd for a few months.
Things got serious really fast when Kandi’s mom felt it was necessary for her to apologize for the things she’s done to wrong Todd. “If I’ve done something or said something to offend you or your mother, I’m sorry,” she said.
Cynthia and Peter were off doing business when Apollo called Peter from jail! He said all was good, besides the fact that he still hasn’t seen his kids — Phaedra really refuses to bring them to jail to see their dad.
Kenya threw a screening-party to share her show with the other ladies. The event was so formal and odd and the girls were so confused, they felt like they were at a wedding! Of course, Kenya arrived wearing a wedding dress. No, she’s not getting married. She was dressed as her character on the show, LOL.
It was then time for NeNe’s Broadway debut, her first night on stage, and she was rightfully nervous! She killed it and even received a standing ovation at the end! She felt more than proud of herself she said — we’re pretty proud of her too, we must say!
