The Duggars have always been very open about their strict conservative views, and now their oldest son, Josh, wants the world to know he stands behind Indiana’s ‘religious freedom’ law — and wants to bring it to his home state of Arkansas. Ugh.
Arkansas lawmakers are following in the footsteps of Indiana in hopes of passing a religious freedom act that would allow businesses to refuse service to same sex couples and transgender people. While many Americans are outraged over these laws, Josh Duggar, 27, is using social media to promote the new laws and share his support.

The governor of Arkansas has not signed the bill yet, but has previously said that he would support it. Still, Josh is encouraging his social media followers to rally in favor of the discriminatory religious freedom law.
“Take a stand for religious freedom in Arkansas — join the rally on the State Capitol steps at 12pm today!” he tweeted on April 2, encouraging his followers to gather together and help fight for the law to pass.
“Religious liberty must always be preserved for all persons. It is one of the major core values of our country which must never be compromised or distorted in anyway. The leaders of our nation must always lift high this founding principle of freedom for all Americans,” the quote read. She also made sure to add the hashtag #FreeToBelieve at the very end of the post.
Meanwhile, celebs like Ashton Kutcher, 37, and Ellen DeGeneres, 57, have vehemently opposed the Indiana and Arkansas law. Miley Cyrus, 22, has also been incredibly vocal in her disapproval, posting a series of Instagrams in opposition to the Indiana bill.
Despite putting a lot of their focus on the support of Arkansas’ new bill, Josh and Anna have a lot more on their plate! In fact, the reality stars are currently expecting their fourth child together.
In early March, the couple learned they’re expecting a baby girl, which will add to their growing brood, which includes daughter Mackynzie, 5, and sons Michael, 3, and Marcus, 1.
Quite a busy time for this fam!
