Hello, hottie! Hailee Steinfeld looks all grown up on two stunning covers of ‘Flare’ magazine’s April Issue. She opened up about living life in the spotlight and dealing with bullies in the exclusive interview. Get the details below!
Hailee Steinfeld has us excited to try on our spring fashion with this boldly colored cover spread for Flare! The 18-year-old Pitch Perfect 2 star dons slicked back hair and designer threads, and we can take so much inspiration from her pretty makeup! What do you think about her cover look, HollywoodLifers?
Hailee Stienfeld — Album Release Debut Coming?
The star said shooting the highly-anticipated film opened up a world of possibilities. “I realized not only could I not match myself lip-synching, it was just easier to go live. Singing is something I’ve always loved to do, and I’d never considered taking it further than the shower.”
In fact, she had so much fun she’s not ruling out the possibility of releasing an album! “It’s being thought about, so we’ll see,” she said. Hey, when you have a great voice and your BFF is Taylor Swift an album is definitely worth thinking about.
Hailee Steinfeld For ‘Flare’ Magazine: It’s Hard To Know “You’re Missing Out’
Hailee looks like such a natural in this high fashion cover shoot! She looks amazing in a pleated Alexander Wang halter dress, and this look does a great job of showing off her mature side without hyper-sexualizing the teen star.
As if Hailee wasn’t already cool enough, she rocks both a black and a white Apple watch on the gorgeous covers!
We also love the blue and red houndstooth cutout Celine top that she is wearing, and she showed that color really is the new black. Get with it people!
Along with her breathtaking cover shots, Hailee also poses in the same yellow sleeveless Dior coat that Rihanna rocked for W Korea amongst other designer looks.
Hailee Steinfeld Stuns On 2 Covers Of ‘Flare’
While living life in the spotlight involves red carpet appearances and traveling the world, Hailee opened up and told Flare that sometimes it gets tough:
“It is definitely hard, being on the other side of the world, knowing that you’re missing out. [On my 18th birthday] I was texting my friends: ‘Guys, I’m 18!’ The next day I woke up to all these messages saying happy birthday, and by that time, I was kind of over it.”
The sacrifice of fame! Hailee even decided to be home schooled because of bullies and an “all around a not-so-great experience”, however, she found a corky girlfriend family on the set of Pitch Perfect 2.
She told Flare, “I was able to go to set every day and feel comfortable. There was just this feeling that every imperfection and all your weirdness was accepted and embraced and wanted.”
We’re so happy Pitch Perfect 2 was a good experience for Hailee and it hits theaters May 15.
