This shouldn’t upset anybody, right? Azealia decided to open up in her recent Playboy interview, and she showed no mercy, even saying how she hates the “fat white Americans” who make up “everything about this country.” Yikes!
Azealia Banks, 23, has never been known to pull her punches when it comes to speaking her mind. And when she starts, you better duck because nobody is safe when she’s on a tear. In her brand new Playboy interview. By the end of it, the Broke With Expensive Tastes rapper takes aim at EVERYBODY: Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, and “fat white Americans” – nobody is spared!
Azealia Banks Playboy Interview: Attacks America Saying ‘I Hate Everything About This Country!’
If you aren’t a fan of Azealia now, her appearance in Playboy’s annual ‘Sex and Music’ issue won’t to win you over. And she probably won’t care.
“I hate everything about this country,” says the controversial rapper, who appears on the cover, along with a 10-page pictorial, of the Mar.20 issue. In the feature interview, Azaelia disses all the “fat white Americans…who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms.”
And she doesn’t stop there. Azealia would go on to defend her notorious twitter rants and feuds, saying that she gets a bad rap while someone like “Lorde can run her mouth and talk sh*t about all these other b*tches, but y’all aren’t saying she’s angry. If I have something to say, I get pushed into the corner.”
Azealia may have a point, but we can’t imagine the “Royals” singer venting her frustrations the way Azealia does.
There is one hip hop icon that Azealia does hold as a role model: “Jay Z,” she tells Playboy. “That’s the only person I have my eye set on.”
“[Y]ou have Pharrell or Kendrick Lamar…playing that nonthreatening black man sh*t, and that gets all the white soccer moms going, ‘We love him.’…Jay Z hasn’t played any of those games, and that’s what I like.”
Azealia Banks is prolific in her feuds, including taking on T.I. in a very vitriolic bout. But he most famous clash (as of now) is when she went after Iggy Azalea on twitter when the Eric Garner decision was announced. Angry over the New York grand jury decided not to indict Daniel Pantaleo over Garner’s death on Dec. 3, Azealia dissed Iggy by saying:
“its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen… Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren’t huh?”
What do you think about what Azealia said in her interview, Hollywood Lifers? Do you agree with what she said?
