Yikes! Chloe Sevigny was out for blood when she went after Jennifer Lawrence calling her “annoying” and “crass” in a recent interview — and it didn’t stop there. Read how Chloe continued to trash talk J-Law!
Chloe Sevigny, 40, was once called “the coolest girl in the world” but she was certainly not cool when she dissed Jennifer Lawrence, 24 in a recent interview. When the Big Love star spoke with V Magazine to promote her upcoming memoir-art book, Chloe was quick to cut down the Hunger Games star.
Chloe Sevigny Disses Jennifer Lawrence: Says She’s ‘Annoying’ and ‘Crass’ In V Magazine
“I finder her annoying,” said Chloe. “Too crass.”
And Chloe didn’t stop there. Jennifer seemed to be on her mind when she decided to share her thoughts on how actors nowadays have to have a ‘big personality,’ something Chloe was (and still is) known for in the past.
“So much [today] is about marketing and selling the product. They’ll have a really peppy funny girl on the talk show rounds, and everybody adores her and loves her and wants to be her or f**k her, and then so many more people want to watch the movie or TV show.”
Hmm. A ‘really peppy funny girl on the talk show rounds’ that everybody ‘adores’ and ‘loves’? Certainly sounds like she was describing a certain Oscar award winning actress.
But what about the rest of Hollywood? Are there any fellow actresses that the Kids and Party Monster star actually likes? “I think Angelina Jolie is a great movie star,” Chloe said. “I like Emma Stone. Whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute.”
Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Be Dior’ Campaign: See The Stylish Shoot
Whether or not Chloe’s comments phase Jen remains to be seen. Right now, she is preparing for the release of the finale of The Hunger Games as well as appearing in the new ‘Be Dior’ campaign for Dior handbags. She may not have any time to sweat Chloe’s comments, but if we hear anything, we’ll let you know.
What do you think of Chloe’s comments, Hollywood Lifers? Do you agree that Jen is “annoying” or are Chloe’s shots completely off the mark?
