For most of you (I’m pretending like California doesn’t exist), this awful winter weather has done a number on your skin and lips. Luckily, I’ve tested out tons of lip balms and I’m sharing my favorites, so you can have healthy, kissable lips in no time!
Lip balm is my number one beauty must-have. To say I’m addicted to sticks and glosses would be an understatement. I once glanced in my purse and realized I had 8 varieties with me — on a normal day. Check out my winter picks to soothe dry lips and SHOP now.
Best Lip Balms — Soothe Dry Lips This Winter: SHOP
Just as we exfoliate our faces, we need to exfoliate our lips. I love the Lip Love Scrub from celebrity favorite makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. The fine scrub is super gentle and smells amazing. After wiping off, treat your lips with Charlotte Tilbury’s Love Magic balm to seal in moisture.
If you want some color, check out CHANEL ROUGE COCO Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour. According to the brand, it contains: “a next-generation formula [called Hydratendre complex]. The exclusive complex includes Jojoba and Mimosa Butters, Sunflower Wax and silicone to deliver lasting hydration and more luminous results.”
EOS Lip Balms come in a cool sphere-shaped container, and are a celeb fave: they are loved by Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, and Demi Lovato, just to name a few!
Fresh Beauty’s Sugar Lip Treatment is a cult favorite, and I’m obsessed with their limited edition Rose Extreme. It smells and tastes amazing!
More Chapped Lips Fixers
If you need something more heavy duty, check out the Carmex Cherry Lip Balm. It’s thick and protects lips from harsh elements. It also has SPF 15 — perfect if you’re hitting a ski slope this winter!
Maybelline’s Baby Lips Dr. Rescue will hit you with a small dose of medication (menthol) to heal severely chapped lips and fever blisters.
If you love things that are natural, I’m a big fan of the Yes To Lip Naturally Smooth Lip Balms and Burt’s Bees New Squeezable Beeswax Lip Balm. Perfect on-the-go.
