What a tragedy. The VH1 star, known by fans as ‘Real,’ reportedly passed away after a long battle with cancer. He was only 33.
Ahmad ‘Real’ Givens is with the angels now, according to a new report. The 33-year-old VH1 reality star, who was featured on Real Chance of Love, died on Feb. 20. “Real” had been battling cancer since 2013, and his health had recently taken a turn for the worse. So sad.

“Real” died just hours after he experienced trouble with his vision and speech on Feb. 20, his brother Kamal “Chance” Givens told TMZ.
He was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013 and underwent surgery. His health had started to improve, but his cancer returned in early 2015. “Real” began chemotherapy treatments soon after.
“Real” had appeared on VH1’s I Love New York before starring with his brother “Chance” on Real Chance of Love. The show ran from 2008 to 2009. The brothers went on to star on Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters.
Chance posted a tearful photo and tribute to his brother on Instagram. The post read, “By to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kindom forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!”
