‘Two and a Half Men’ will say goodbye for good on Feb. 19. Obviously, fans are heartbroken to see it go but, more pressingly, they’re wondering whether former star Charlie Sheen will make an appearance.
After 12 seasons (and plenty of cast turnover) the long running CBS hit Two and a Half Men will depart from the airwaves once and for all on Feb. 19. Stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer are sure to have geared up to say goodbye, but could the series’ former star Charlie Sheen also be dropping by to say his farewells? We’ve got the scoop!
‘Two And A Half Men’: Charlie Sheen To Return?
Is Charlie (AKA…Charlie) making an appearance in the series finale of Two and a Half men?
Well, if he had his way, he would be! Charlie told Entertainment Tonight that, “I was wanting to be a part of the final episode,” Charlie said. “I was just waiting for them.”
So will Charlie get his wish?
Well, series creator Chuck Lorre has remained mum on a definite answer, but has definitely implied that it’s possible! “There is something of a mystery that drives the plot [of the finale],” Chuck told Vulture. “I think from the very first scene, you’ll see where we’re going. I don’t want to say much more than that.”
So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
For a network sitcom, an abnormal amount of controversy has swirled around Two and a Half Men throughout its impressive 12 (!) seasons.
Starting with the obvious (and well publicized), when Men began, Charlie was a likable movie star. However, around 2011, that definitively began to change, as Charlie seemed to be in the midst of a breakdown, posting bizarre videos of him smoking cigarettes, claiming he has tiger’s blood and, of course, “winning.”
There was also some drama surrounding that half man. Star Angus T. Jones abruptly quit the series (or possibly got fired) after he became more involved with religion and called the series on which he found fame “filth.”
Are you sad to see Two and a Half Men go? And are you hoping to see Charlie make an appearance on the finale?
