As she continues to fight for her life, doctors removed Bobbi Kristina Brown from her breathing tube to perform a tracheotomy in what her family is calling a ‘normal’ procedure.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, has been in a medically induced coma since Jan. 31 — nearly a month — with little-to-no improvement on her condition. In the first new update in almost two weeks, a family source close to the tragic situation has been revealed that Bobby Brown‘s daughter underwent a normal procedure.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Breathing Tube Removed
There has finally been an update on Bobbi Kristina’s condition, but, sadly, there is no change in her devastating condition.
Just this week, doctors performed a tracheotomy on Bobbi Kristina to remove her breathing tube and place it in a different position. The procedure is totally “normal,” according to a family source, and, unfortunately, will have no effect on her condition.
“Everything else remains the same. It’s a waiting game. The family is hoping and waiting,” the family source told PEOPLE.
Poor Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma for nearly three weeks, and, sadly, there has been no sign of improvement in her condition.
Bobbi Kristina Remains On Life Support, Despite Reports
Over the course of the past three weeks, multiple reports have claimed that Bobbi Kristina’s family is pulling the plug on her life support.
Hearing this news repeated over and over again must be so difficult for her loved ones, who have not, in fact, pulled the plug — nor do they plan to.
Just this week, on Feb. 17, the family attorney denied yet another report that they had decided to remove Bobbi Kristina from her life support.
Our thoughts remain with Bobbi Kristina and her friends and family during this difficult time.
