Usher, who was nominated for best R&B performance for his song “Good Kisser” at the 2015 Grammys, took the stage to deliver a stunning performance of Stevie’s hit song “If It’s Magic.” It was just Usher and a female harp player on stage, highlighting his smooth vocals. He slowly walked over to her as the song continued to build, the spotlight following him.
And build it definitely did! The most magical moment came when Stevie joined Usher on stage, playing the harmonica. The crowd went wild for Stevie’s appearance, earning him a standing ovation. What an amazing surprise!
The performance was so well done, and these two R&B icons were the perfect Grammys collaboration!
Usher Will Pay Tribute To Stevie Wonder Again At All-Star Concert
Usher killed it on stage at the Grammys, and he’s still full of love for Stevie. He’s also set to perform at a special all-star concert series to honor the great Stevie yet again on Feb. 10.
Chris Martin, Willie Nelson, Ed Sheeran and Janelle Monae will also be joining Usher for the upcoming tribute, Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star Grammy Salute. The concert will be aired as a two-hour special on CBS on Feb. 16, so be sure to tune in to another great night of music!
