Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett brought some class to music’s biggest night with their performance of “Cheek To Cheek” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 8. The duo had fans of all ages tapping their toes to the jazzy rendition of the classic song.
Tony Bennett, 88, and Lady Gaga, 27, had one heck of a night with an outstanding performance as well as a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocals for their album “Cheek to Cheek.” The dynamic duo beat out another one of tonight’s amazing performers, Annie Lennox. Congratulations!
Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga’s Grammy Performance — They Sing Classic ‘Cheek To Cheek’
Lady Gaga has become a big hit to a whole new group of fans since releasing “Cheek To Cheek” with Tony in Sep. 2014. The album became an instant classic with fans and critics alike, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200, Jazz Albums, and Traditional Jazz Albums charts.
The album is compiled of favorites from the Great American Songbook composed by jazz icons like George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin.
Tony and Gaga had some stiff competition for the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocals. Other nominees in the category included Barbra Streisand – “Partners”, Annie Lennox – “Nostalgia”, Barry Manilow – “Nightsongs” and Johnny Mathis – “Sending You A Little Christmas”

This wasn’t the first time this dynamic duo has given an amazing performance. The two mesmerized the crown with a soulful performance on ‘Christmas In Rockefeller Center’ on Dec. 3!
Before they lit up the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, Gaga and Tony warmed the hearts of their many fans and hundred of chilly New Yorkers with a performance of ‘Winter Wonderland’ for the NBC special, ‘Christmas In Rockefeller Center’.
The crowd loved their duet as well as their stunning looks. Lady Gaga looked gorgeous in a beautiful snow-white gown, while Tony kept it classy in black with a delightful red scarf and his trademark smile.
