Beyonce Sings Powerful Rendition Of ‘Take My Hand Precious Lord’ At Grammy Awards

Beyoncé returned to the Grammy stage on Feb. 8, after opening the show in 2014 to sing a breathtakingly version of Rev.Thomas A. Dorsey’s song, ‘Take My Hand Precious Lord’ — and it was amazing!
Beyoncé, 33, is officially flawless! Queen Bey rocked the Grammy Awards again on Feb.8, after opening the show in 2014 with her performance of “Drunk In Love” by performing “Take My Hand Precious Lord” before segueing into John Legend and Common‘s song “Glory” from the critically acclaimed film, Selma.
Beyonce’s Grammy Performance — Sings ‘Take My Hand Precious Lord’
Beyoncé has had quite the year and is nominated for a total of six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year — tied with Sam Smith for the most nominations!
While her performances are always incredibly entertaining, but Queen Bey definitely stepped it up a notch this year by arriving by helicopter. We are used to seeing Beyoncé in major numbers showing off her amazing dance moves, it was nice to focus on her equally as great vocals.
She sang a beautiful rendition of, “Take My Hand Precious Lord.” The stunner wore a jaw dropping all white ensemble that showed off her flawless skin and perfect waves — all eyes were definitely on her. She then seamlessly segued into “Glory” performed by John Legend and Common from the Golden Globe Award winning film, Selma.
Definitely one of Beyoncé’s best performance to date!
Common — Excited About Beyoncé’s Introduction
Common could not have ben more excited to perform with Beyoncé — and can you blame him?! He told Us Weekly, “We do have an incredible introduction to our performance.”
He continued, “A segue into our song ‘Glory,’ as a tribute to Selma, being done by the great Beyoncé. That’s one of the greatest talents you can have, helping us segue into it. To co-create a performance with someone like her. It’s good.”
