Gorgeous hair. Dazzling makeup. And lashes for days on all the ladies — there were the beauty trends to behold on Feb.8th at the 2015 BAFTA Awards in London. The Royal Opera House couldn’t have looked any lovelier than it did as the most beautiful stars from the best movies of the year graced the red carpet in several unforgettable looks.
BAFTA Awards Best Hair & Makeup — Smokey Eyes & Dark Lashes
Dark bold lashes and an extremely smokey eye dominated the trends for the red carpet in 2015.
Like Rosamund Pike. Even with a messy bob and a very nude lip, Rosamund gave her glamor look a punch with a very dark eyeliner and full lashes. Same goes for Dianna Agron, whose natural glow and lack of jewels was brought together with an extreme cat eye look and fifty shades for grey smokey eye shadow on her lids.
Yes, the blondes made a splash on the carpet with similar makeup styles, but when it came to their hair, there was a world a difference. Natalie Dormer, for instance, opted for a sweeping, pulled back braid. How very Katniss of her! And then there was the always gorgeous Reese Witherspoon, who let her beautiful locks flow perfectly around her shoulders. A classic look for a classic beauty.
Best Hair & Makeup At The 2014 BAFTA Awards — Amy Adams & More
And then there’s Amy Adams, always the epitome of of perfection on the red carpet. A perfect pink lip, complimented by some extreme mascara to her already dramatic eye look. And with a not a single hair out of place, Amy’s already a winner at the BAFTAs.
What did you think, HollywoodLifers? Who had your favorite hair & makeup look of the night?
