Just in time for Valentine’s Day! Kelly seems to have remembered all the lonely hearts out there with her latest video, the uplifting visuals for just-released track, “Heartbeat Song.”
In the clip, Kelly twirls and sings in a brightly colored background, as previously heartbroken people learn to find love again with new people and new possibilities. How sweet!
It definitely fits the lyrics, which speak to the experience of finding the one when you’ve all but given up hope:
“You, where the hell did you come from?
You’re a different, different kind of fun
And I’m so used to feeling numb
Now, I got pins and needles on my tongue
Anticipating what’s to come
Like a finger on a loaded gun
I can feel it rising
Temperature inside me
Haven’t felt it for a long time”
Really a great message for singles as the love holiday draws nearer…life is full of possibility and you just never know when romance will drop into your life!
“Heartbeat Song:’ Based On Kelly’s Real Love?
The single is the lead from Kelly’s 7th studio album, Piece By Piece, due out on March 3.
The catchy ballad is all about stumbling across new love at the most unexpected moment. We’re pretty sure the songstress was inspired by the overflow of love in her life that’s come over the last year and a half from husband, Brandon Blackstock, 38, and baby girl, River Rose, 7 months!
What do you think of the video, Hollywoodlifers? Sound off in the comments.
