Bobby Brown won’t be celebrating his birthday this year, because sadly doctors told him that there was nothing more they could do for Bobbi Kristina — and that it’s time to let her go, according to a new report. This is such heartbreaking news.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, has been in a medically induced coma since Jan. 31, and now, sadly, a new report claims that doctors have revealed that they can not make her better. This tragic news comes as her father, Bobby Brown, should be celebrating his 46th birthday, and just hours after another report revealed Bobbi was trying to have a baby with her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 24.
Bobbi Kristina’s Family Saying Their Good-Byes
This is the news we all feared to hear.
“Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,” a Bobbi Kristina family source revealed to People on Thursday, Feb. 5.
Sadly, doctors have explained to Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby, and the rest of her loved ones that they are out of options, according to the report.
Doctors have now left the decision to take Bobbi Kristina off of life support in Bobby’s hands, reports TMZ. Sadly, the report also states that he is “refusing” the make the decision today — and that he wants to wait for the weekend to be over before he does.
“Bobby has been crying nonstop since yesterday,” the source shared. “We are grieving.”
This tragic update on Bobbi Kristina’s health came just one day before Bobby’s birthday, which is Feb. 5. Instead of celebrating with his daughter, he is crying at her bedside and preparing to say goodbye.
UPDATE: Interestingly enough, Bobby’s attorney released a statement about this sad news claiming that it’s not true:
“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”
Bobbi Kristina’s Improvement Was Minimal
As many of you know, Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since she was found face down and unresponsive in a bath tub inside her Roswell, Georgia townhouse on Saturday morning, Jan. 31.
“Krissy is doing a little better, almost breathing on her own,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY on Feb. 3.
However, it wasn’t all good news. Our source explained that her condition “changes by hour,” and that she “will almost certainly have brain damage” if she makes it.
Sadly, her condition has shown little-to-no improvement, even after Bobby had her transferred to Emory University Hospital, which is said to have a much more comprehensive medical team than North Fulton where she was originally taken.
This is heartbreaking news for Bobbi Kristina’s family. Our thoughts remain with her and her loved ones during this very difficult time.
