Uh oh — is there more Haylor drama just when we thought the waters were finally calm? Harry Styles celebrated his 21st birthday on Feb. 1 and made it a point not to invite Taylor Swift, 25, because he thought he would be “inviting drama” into his party, HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY. Here’s the scoop!
Ouch — is this Harry’s biggest diss yet? The One Direction hottie apparently didn’t even think of putting Taylor on the guest list!
“She was never invited because he wanted to have fun and inviting drama and all the nonsense she would bring is never fun. Why bring oil in a party full of water?,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“She would want to be the center of attention, and it was his birthday,” our source continues. “He wants to be the master of ceremonies so to speak, he doesn’t want to babysit her and have to watch who she is talking to.”
Hmmm… sounds like Harry would have been distracted by Taylor had she been there! We understand there’s some very complicated history between them — after all, Harry has been the subject of a few of Taylor’s songs and it seems like she’s not exactly over the fact that Harry broke her heart!
“He didn’t want to make his birthday something more than what it was, by adding Taylor it would have added so many elements to the night and he wanted to have fun,” our source added. “Taylor being there would have meant he would have had no fun, simple as that.”
We should also face the fact that it probably would have been awkward for both Taylor and Harry had she been at the party, seeing as though Harry’s new love Nadine Leopold, 21, was at his lavish event!
Harry has been getting closer to Nadine, and it probably would have stung Taylor had she seen them together! But then again, Harry invited his ex flings Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner, who have managed to stay tight with Harry. Is Harry holding a grudge against Taylor?
