The cast of ‘Steve Jobs,’ the biopic is finally confirmed — and it’s full of A-listers. With Michael Fassbender landing the role of Mr. Jobs, who else will join him and when can we expect the film?
It’s been months since rumors began swirling that a biopic of Steve Jobs life was in the works. On Jan. 27, Universal Pictures confirmed that the biopic is in fact happening, and that Michael Fassbender would be playing the lead. Who will be his right hand man? Well, Seth Rogen of course.
‘Steve Jobs’ Biopic Cast
Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin‘s project is finally ready to go and has a roster. Here’s what we know:
Michael Fassbender will play Jobs; Seth Rogen will play Steve Wozniak; Kate Winslet will play former Macintosh marketing boss Joanna Hoffman; Jeff Daniels will play former Apple CEO John Sculley; and Michael Stuhlbarg will play Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original developers of the Mac.
Who Else To Expect?
Additionally, we’ll get a look at Steve Jobs’ personal life: Katherine Waterston will play his ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan, and Perla Haney-Jardine, Ripley Sobo, and Makenzie Moss, will all play Lisa Brennan “at various stages of her life.”
“Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter,” Universal Pictures wrote in a press release. The film began shooting on Jan. 26 in San Francisco, Cali.
