Rihanna & Kanye West’s New Song Collaboration
Sounds like Rihanna and Kanye want another Grammy!
Kanye’s untitled duet with Rihanna was one of the many songs he previewed from his seventh studio studio album at the iHeartMedia Music Summit, according to Billboard.
The song featured acoustic guitar, an epic chorus and a melody with a major hook. After teasing the song, Kanye slammed his laptop shut and abruptly walked offstage. That had to leave fans wanting more!
There’s talk that the collaboration also features musicians Ty Dolla $ign and Paul McCartney. “Me, Rihanna, ‘Ye and Paul [McCartney] got a song about to drop as well,” Ty Dolla $ign told Billboard in Jan. “It’s gonna drop soon. I heard they shot the video recently. I don’t know what the final title is, but I know it’s crazy, so just be looking out for [it].”
Both Kanye and Rihanna’s fans have been anxiously awaiting a new collaboration between the artists since 2010. The duo won the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song for “All of the Lights.”
Missing Rihanna on stage? Well, you won’t have to wait too long! The singer is set to perform at the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in New York City!
Rihanna will take the stage on Feb. 12 at the outdoor concert as the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets host events.
Could Kanye make a special guest appearance? We sure hope so!
