Is Justin Bieber about to get the biggest freak out of his life? Will he be seeing Selena walk the red carpet with her new man at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8? It’s very possible, as a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that ‘Zedd wants Selena to be his date.’
Justin Bieber, 20, has never walked the Grammy Awards red carpet with Selena Gomez, 22, by his side, so if she goes as Zedd‘s date to this year’s event on Feb. 8, as HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned might happen, we imagine the “Baby” singer will be very upset. Unfortunately, Justin may be in a for a rude awakening.
Zedd & Selena Gomez Grammy Awards — He Wants Her To Go As His Date
“Zedd wants Selena to be his date, which is so sweet, but she’s torn because she’s not sure if she wants to go that public with him yet. Selena loves keeping people guessing, especially Justin,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
We certainly understand where Selena is coming from. She doesn’t seem ready to completely move on from Justin, and going to such a big awards show with Zedd, 25, by her side — something she’s never done with Justin while they were together — would almost be like putting a nail in a coffin that is their relationship.
This would be a huge step for Selena and Zedd, as far as their relationship is concerned.
Selena Gomez’s New Album: Zedd’s Inspiring Her Music
Even if they don’t go to the Grammy Awards together, Selena and Zedd are mixing business with pleasure in other ways.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Zedd is influencing Selena’s next album in a lot of ways.
“He is working on songs with her for her album and his own album,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She wants an EDM-sounding album, and she wants to work with other EDM producers like Skrillex and everyone in that world.”
We love Selena and Zedd together, so we definitely hope they attend the Grammy Awards together. And we’re super stoked to hear their new albums.
