‘Will & Grace’ Reunion Happening On Television:
It’s been nearly nine years since Will & Grace went off the air, and we still miss it basically every day. Fortunately, an amazing wish has been granted for fans of the dearly departed show.
NBC has just announced that Eric McCormack, who played Will, will guest star this season on an upcoming episode of the network’s cop dramedy The Mysteries of Laura, which stars Debra Messing who, of course, played Grace. Um, yes please!
Eric will play Laura’s ex-fiance who also happens to be a murder suspect.
Now if we can just get Jack and Karen to show up in there somehow, we would be the happiest people in the world!
A Groundbreaking Hit
When Will & Grace premiered in 1998, it was immediately deemed somewhat controversial due to its gay protagonists– this at a time when LGBT subject matter was still few and far between.
The sitcom went on to gain acclaim and popularity, becoming part of NBC’s “Must See TV” block. In 2012, Vice President Joe Biden even credited the show with helping to educate the country about gay rights.
Are you excited to see Will and Grace back together again?
