Teresa’s daughter is celebrating her first birthday without her mother, Jan. 9 and a report claims she is ‘incredibly sad’ that her mom is in prison on this important day in her life.
Teresa Giudice is missing her daughter, Gia Giudice‘s 14th birthday while she is behind bars serving her 15 month sentence in the Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut. Luckily she has her father, Joe Giudice and her three sisters, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8 and Audriana, 4 to be there with her. But we can only imagine how tough it will be for her but a report claims she is staying strong.
Gia Giudice’s Sad 14th Birthday Without Mom Teresa
The kids are expected to visit Teresa this weekend when she has visiting hours at the prison but it definitely can’t be easy: “Gia is incredibly sad about not spending time with her mom on her birthday, but, like Teresa, she is very strong,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com. “She is going to put on the best face and enjoy her celebration — and she knows that her mom loves her no matter where she is.”
We should also point out that Teresa will be missing several important family holidays. Her daughter, Milania will turn 9 on Feb. 2, her own birthday is May 18, Gabriella’s 11th birthday is Sept. 14 and Audriana’s 5th birthday is Oct. 2. We should also point out that Joe’s 45th birthday is May. 22.
Gia tweeted Jan. 8: “my birthdays tomorrow,” along with a smiley face emoji.
Teresa Celebrates Gia’s Before Prison
The day before Teresa turned herself into prison, Jan. 5, she gave her daughter a low-key 14th birthday party. It must have been so bittersweet.
Shortly after the party she headed to Danbury a little after the kids got to bed, so sad!
“Our plan was that we were going to leave her house at midnight to start our journey to Danbury. I got to her house at 10:30 p.m. and it was somber,” her attorney James J. Leonard Jr. said. “The kids had already been put to bed. She was cleaning up the kitchen two minutes before we left for Connecticut. She was still running around, making sure the house was normal. It was all about her children and her family. That’s been her singular focus,” he said. “The main reason we left at the time we did, is she didn’t want her kids waking up for school and have a million people in front of their home waiting for Teresa to come out.”
It has just been released that Teresa may end up getting out of prison Feb. 5, 2016, two months before her scheduled release date.
“The last thing she said to me was, ‘I’ll be fine. Tell Joe and the girls I’m good,’” her attorney told People. “She was like, ‘Hey. Let’s go. Let’s get this done.”
HollywoodLifers, our thoughts are with her family and we hope they all stay strong!
