Move over, Iggy! There’s a new girl in the rap game and she’s bringing the heat. Did we mention she’s still in elementary school? Everyone’s favorite little singer, Sophia Grace, has just released a hot new music video and you’re not going to want to miss it!
The young English YouTube star, Sophia Grace Brownlee, 11, is going “hard as f**k” (Katy Perry‘s words, not ours) in her new music video. The little ball of energy released a music video for her new song “Best Friends” on Jan. 7, and yes, it made us wish we were her BFFs!
Sophia Grace’s New Video For ‘Best Friends’ — Watch
Is it possible for Sophia Grace to get any cuter? Yes.
Thanks to Ellen DeGeneres, Sophia became an overnight sensation. In her latest YouTube video, she gathers a group of her favorite girls for one amazing party — let’s keep in mind she’s 11, it was a slumber party.
The girls start out innocently playing dress up at home, but soon unleash their craziness at Kmart, where strategically enough, Sophia’s clothing line is stocked.
All throughout the video, Sophia raps her little heart out. She may be a pint-sized youngin’, but she doesn’t hold back, with lines like, “I’ll take it to the top, I’m never gonna stop… Eleven years old, that’s just how I rock… So if you are my best friend, put your hands up, now put your hands up!”
This video is nothing short of amazing, but one girl was noticeably missing — Sophia’s little sister, Rosie. The adorable sidekick was nowhere to be found. We want answers!
This Isn’t Sophia’s First Rodeo
Sophia stopped by Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show on Jan. 7, and told him, “I’m so excited to release this song as I think all girls can relate to the lyrics.”
She went on to tell him that “It’s a great song to listen to with your friends at a party and it’s real catchy for everyone to sing along, I had so much fun recording this song in the studio.”
How adorable is she?
This isn’t the first single for Sophia. Back in 2012 she debuted “Girls Just Gotta Have Fun.”
We have to say, this may be our new guilty pleasure.
