The haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. A number of tweeters believe Justin had some photoshopping help to make his muscles look bigger than they actually are. Are his Calvin Klein pics airbrushed? A number of experts spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY and reacted to the criticism.
“They airbrushed a lot of muscle onto little Justin Bieber,” a tweeter posted on Jan. 7, regarding the singer’s new Calvin Klein campaign. His body does seem super defined, but is it because of some Photoshop magic? Here’s what we know!
Justin Bieber Body Airbrushed In Calvin Klein Pics? — Experts Weigh In
Multiple photo experts spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY and revealed that yes, Justin’s photos are likely Photoshopped, but not a lot.
“Some airbrushing seems to have been done to make the pics look their best, as most companies or outlets would do for a huge campaign like this,” one expert told us.
“I wouldn’t say they are overly airbrushed. Justin has always had those muscles and a tight core. It looks like there was a lot of dodging and burning done to enhance the muscles. The dodge tool lightens and the burn tool darkens. By making the highlights lighter and the shadows darker it creates contrast. Especially in black and white. The more contrast you have, the more detail is noticeable. It makes the muscles and abs stand out more. To say that his muscles were drawn into Photoshop is highly unlikely. It’s a lot of good lighting and contrast in the photos,” another expert told us.
Phew! We’re so happy to hear that most of Justin’s muscles, in the photos, are real.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Did you think Justin’s pics were photoshopped? Are you happy to hear they’re not? Tell us how you feel!
