Selena Gomez‘s New Year’s vacation in Dubai would not have been as well spent if it weren’t for Harith Buckshaw. Selena, 22, and Harith, 29, clicked immediately, and “became really great friends,” but did it go further? HollywoodLife.com knows EXCLUSIVE details on what exactly happened between Selena and Harith!
Harith, who is one of the founders of the boutique talent agency Bukhash Brothers, was put in charge of planning Selena’s trip to Dubai, and it didn’t take long for the two to bond. But their relationship never crossed the friendship line.
“They had a ton of fun, became really great friends and he would hook up with her in a heartbeat because he sees himself as a player that gets who he wants, when he wants,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But they didn’t hook up, and they aren’t dating. His eyes were actually on Shay Mitchell, who he also didn’t hook up with, but not Selena.”
Even though Harith and Selena didn’t hook up, that doesn’t mean that they didn’t have the best time together! As we previously reported, Harith couldn’t stop making Selena laugh when they were together, and he showed her how she deserves to be treated by a guy — which is exactly what she needed to stop thinking about Justin Bieber!
This is exactly the trip Selena needed to heal her broken heart over Justin, 20. The sexy singer is finally waking up and realizing that she deserves to be treated “like a princess!”
“She is having the best time of her life in Dubai. She really bonded with Harith. He has helped show Selena how she really deserves to be treated, like a princess,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Plus, he makes her laugh and that’s all they have been doing while in Dubai, laughing and having fun!”
It sounds like Selena and Harith became very close, and we’re so happy they had a ton of fun together as friends.
