With a ton of new cast members being introduced in the final season of ‘Glee,’ it’s no surprise that there’s also going to be some amazing guest stars — and that includes Jennifer Coolidge and Ken Jeong!
Glee is almost back in session! Under the eye of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), we know that the new kids will be up for a serious struggle — but they won’t be alone. HollywoodLife.com chatted with Billy Lewis Jr., who was just added to the cast as Mason, all about what’s to come this season.
‘Glee’ Cast Adds A-List Guest Stars
“When filming the wedding episodes actually, there were a couple of amazing comedians that come in,” Billy told us. “Ken Jeong and Jennifer Coolidge play Brittany’s parents in the show and watching the two of them work is like gold. It’s like a comedic masterclass. The way they come up with new lines on the spot and make each other laugh constantly. It’s just gold.”
Yes, you heard that right — Brittany’s (Heather Morris) parents will be two of the most hilarious people in the business.
It’s actually not so shocking since Jennifer starred in Best in Show with Jane Lynch, who plays the crazy Sue Sylvester, as well as Michael Hitchcock, who is a writer and co-executive producer on Glee. As for Ken, well he teased it a bit with this photo:

Who Will Be The ‘Comic Relief?’
Needless to say, it makes sense that Brittany has two hilarious parents. However, this season, the hilarity will be passed off!
“We’re definitely the comic relief right off the bat,” Billy said. “We have a tip of the hat to Brittany, just nice, light and carefree. Until we get into a little more of some storyline stuff later on.”
Glee returns with its final season on January 9 on Fox. Are you excited, HollywoodLifers?
