No one is more happy to hear that The Interview will be released in movie theaters more than the film’s stars, James Franco, 36, and Seth Rogen, 32. See what they had to say about the exciting news!
Bust out the champagne, because James and Seth need to toast themselves ASAP!
Shortly after it was announced that Sony would release The Interview after pulling it from theaters, the stars took to social media to express their excitement. Rightfully so!
“VICTORY!!!!!!!” James captioned a photo of him and Seth on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
“The PEOPLE and THE PRESIDENT have spoken!!! SONY to release ‘THE INTERVIEW’ in theaters on XMAS DAY!”
Both Seth and James remained silent after Sony announced they were cancelling the film’s release, but now they both seem thrilled about the company’s change of heart.
James wasn’t the only one speaking out about the film’s release.
Seth also took to social media, his Twitter account, to commend those who didn’t five up on seeing the film get released.
“The people have spoken! Freedom has prevailed! Sony didn’t give up! ‘The Interview’ will be shown at theaters willing to play it on Xmas day!”
He also retweeted Evan Goldberg, The Interview‘s director, who wrote that he and Seth were “humbled” by the support of their fans.
