Cody Simpson, 17, won the hearts of millions with his silky voice on YouTube. Now his singing has won him the one heart he wants most — that of girlfriend Gigi Hadid, 19. After a 7-month separation, the couple are back together, all due to a loving song he wrote just for her!

Cody & Gigi are officially back on, and things have been great for the young lovebirds ever since their reunion!
After breaking up in May of 2014, Cody says he had time to reflect and realized that he had to find a way to make it work with the gorgeous fashion model.
“It was looking kind of tough to be able to make it work and still remain the good, honest boyfriend that I’ve always wanted to be,” he told ET about their breakup.
“She’s a great girl…I kind of realized that I didn’t want to be without her. I won her back and it’s been great ever since.”
Cody Simpson Opens Up On Song For Gigi
Cody says he wrote a number of songs just for Gigi, to let her know just how special she is to him. So sweet!
But the singer says it was one song in particular, called “Clouds,” that may have convinced Gigi to come back to him.
With lyrics hearkening back to a personal memory they made together early on in their relationship, he was able to make Gigi remember the good times they shared during their year-long relationship and eventually give things one more chance!
Well, with a voice like Cody’s, it’s no surprise that Gigi’s heart melted when she heard him sing a song just for her!
