It sounds like Chris got exactly what he wanted! We’ll watch the farmer from Iowa search for love during season 19 of ‘The Bachelor,’ and in a brand new interview, he revealed that he totally found it!
After he competed (and lost) for Andi Dorfman‘s heart on The Bachelorette, Chris Soules made America fall head over heels in love with him. So, he’s now on the search for his own soulmate. We’ll see the journey begin on the Jan. 5 premiere — and he just spilled that he’s actually “in love!” Good for you, Farmer Chris!
‘The Bachelor’ Chris Soules ‘In Love’
“I am happy I did it,” Chris told PEOPLE in a new interview. “I don’t think I could get through that again, [but] I’m extremely happy with the outcome. I’m happy to say I’m in love. That’s pretty crazy!”
So, what was different this time around?
Well, Andi couldn’t see herself as a “farmer’s wife,” but this time the ladies going in knew that that is what they were competing for (and who wouldn’t want that?!).
There’s No ‘Elephant In The Room’ This Time Around
“[With] Andi, it was always kind of the elephant in the room that we didn’t really talk about until it came right down to it,” he told the mag. “My goal in being The Bachelor was to find someone I first could just fall in love with and think and hope and believe she is my soulmate… compromise is the next thing to focus on.”
He also revealed that it was “nerve-racking” meeting all of the women but ABC did a darn good job.
“I was going in completely open-minded and there were so many great girls … the quality of women was pretty amazing,” he said. What a gentleman! All I’ve got to say is whoever he fell in love with is one lucky girl. The Bachelor airs on ABC on Jan. 5 at 8PM ET. Do you want to watch?
