“They both fought over the name, and Scott really wanted to stick to honoring their fathers, but Kourtney got more adamant that it be unique,” our source revealed EXCLUSIVELY.
Well, Kourtney got her wish.
Her decision-making on Reign’s name was also a way for her to motivate Scott to do right by his kids now more than ever.
“She also is very upset with Scott and felt that he shouldn’t have final say over the name since he is not doing his part as a father,” our source continued. “Kourtney wanted to make the name decision to really hit home with Scott and see if it makes him want to finally change and get his act together.”
This was quite the bold message to send to Scott. Baby Reign’s name is set in stone forever. We understand why Scott would want to honor his father, given his tragic death in Jan. 2014.
Scott’s wild ways haven’t been the best thing for his relationship with Kourtney, especially when she was pregnant.
HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Kourtney was “very anxious” about welcoming a third child, with Scott’s partying still being prevalent.
Only three days after Kourtney gave birth to Reign, Scott hit up a lingerie party French Montana, Tyga and Chris Brown. Not exactly father material, huh?
Kourtney had to teach him a lesson. However, we have to remember that Scott is also referred to as Lord Disick, so Reign’s name is a perfect way to continue that royalty theme.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kourtney was right to choose Reign’s name? Should it have been a joint effort? Let us know!
