Iggy Azalea, 24, has been targeted by the hacking group Anonymous. The group sent a series of messages to the Australian rapper on Twitter threatening to “burn” her from the public if she does not issue an apology to Azealia Banks, 23, after their nasty Twitter fight.
Well, this is definitely scary.
After beefing with fellow rapper Azealia on Twitter, Iggy has become the latest target of internet hacking group, Anonymous.
The Twitter account that threatened Iggy, @TheAnonMessage, has since been deleted, but you can read their messages below.
“MESSAGE: @IGGYAZALEA, you have exactly 48 hours from now to release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC…,” they wrote on Dec. 20.
“MESSAGE:@IGGYAZALEA if you do not do so, the memory of you will burn from the public faster than the moment you surfaced. We’re not kidding.”
They gave her exactly 48 hours to comply with their threat and so far her Twitter account has yet to be updated.
Although they claim they will not release the tape in full, Anonymous made it very clear that they have an “x-rated” tape involving a much younger Iggy.
Their now deleted tweets claimed they would release snapshots of the tape in order to confirm it was, in fact, Iggy, and they also claimed that it involves a man in a “business suit.”
One final tweet slammed Iggy by insinuating that the sex tape was made in order to help her get a record deal. Ouch.
