Blair, Chuck, Serena, Dan and Nate, we all miss you. Gossip Girl ran from 2007 to 2012, and the deliciously soapy drama captivated us from start to finish. At the Tommy Hilfiger and GQ‘s 3rd annual Men of New York event on Dec. 11, Ed Westwick chatted with HollywoodLife.com about the possibility of a reunion of the cult classic. And yes, this is a secret we’ll most certainly tell.
The last time we saw the Gossip Girl crew, Chuck and Blair were happily married and welcomed an adorable son named Henry, Dan and Serena were getting married and we learned Dan was the person behind Gossip Girl all along. (Still not over it.)
The past two years have been tough on all us GGers, so can put our eyes on the ultimate prize — a reunion of the epic cast?
“I think we enjoyed ourselves on what we did, but now everyone’s off doing their own thing,” Ed told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “We’re all very happy for one another.”
Since the show ended, the main cast members have all gone on to various movie roles.
Blake Lively is currently expecting her first child with Ryan Reynolds and Leighton Meester married fellow TV star Adam Brody. Ed told us that he keeps up with the beloved cast. So cute!
While a reunion may not be in the cards quite yet, the Veronica Mars fandom has shown us that anything can happen. Who knows? Maybe when Gossip Girl reaches the five-year milestone or the big 1-0 if the cast will decide to give fans the reunion we’ll be waiting for until the end of time.
In honor of Gossip Girl, let’s take a moment to remember the best TV couple of all time — Chuck and Blair.
HollywoodLifers, do you think there should be a Gossip Girl reunion? Let us know! XOXO, everyone!
