‘Harry Potter’: Severus Snape Short Story Released By J.K. Rowling
It’s the 12 Days of Harry Potter Christmas!
J.K. Rowling started off the 12-day epic event right by sharing a short story about Severus Snape.
You have to solve a riddle on Pottermore.com to unlock the new content. This was the riddle for Snape’s story:
“In a house on Spinner’s End a meeting takes place
A mother begs help for her son, tears on her face
Agreeing to help but he doesn’t know how
Which Potion Master performs an Unbreakable Vow?”
In her first piece titled “Cokeworth,” J.K. reveals that the town where Lily and Aunt Petunia grew up is the same place where Snape was raised.
This means that Lily and Snape knew each other before Hogwarts. Snape’s love for Lily went much further than the halls of the wizarding school. This secret continues to break our already broken hearts surrounding Snape and Lily’s love story.
