Jimmy Fallon is having quite the year! Less than 10 months after debuting as the host of The Tonight Show, the 40-year-old comedian revealed he and his wife, Nancy Fallon, welcomed a second baby girl into the world on Dec. 3. So sweet!

“Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 3, weighing 5 lbs., 11 oz. and is 18.5 inches long,” Jimmy’s rep said in a statement released to PEOPLE.
“Their new addition joins big sister,Winnie Rose, [16 months]. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate.”
We think it’s so cool that celebrities are taking different avenues to create and expand their families! And Jimmy has been loving his new role as a daddy.

“This has been the craziest year of my life. But being a father is the most exciting, amazing thing that ever happened to me. And everything’s going well on the show. My life has never been this cool,” he told PEOPLE in June.
And his year just keeps getting better and better. Jimmy was also named 2014’s Entertainer of the Year by Entertainment Weekly magazine. He graces the cover of their Dec. 5 issue.
