Taylor Swift & 5SOS’ Michael Clifford Flirt On Twitter – New Romance?

Even though she wants to stay single, it looks like Taylor is still flirting it up! Following the AMAs, 5 Seconds of Summer cutie, Michael Clifford, started tweeting about T.Swift — and she responded.

Taylor Swift must be searching Twitter for mentions of “Blank Space,” because even though Michael Clifford didn’t directly @ her on Twitter on Nov. 23 during the show, his message about her performance started a full on flirty convo — and we caught it all!

Alright so here’s the breakdown. During the AMAs, the 5SOS singer, 19-year-old Michael, took to Twitter, to explain his love for TSwift’s new song.

“I’m so late on the shake it off hype,” he wrote. Days later on Nov. 30, the 24-year-old singer retweeted him, and responded with “@Michael5SOS Well I was late retweeting you. Call it even?”

So, he responded with the lovey, heart-as-eyes face. And she didn’t end it there! She went on to tweet an emoji filled shout out:

He answered with: “thank you. your performance of blank space was sweet. I cried like this guy,” and then linked to a video of a man crying on A&E’s Intervention. Taylor’s response was pretty much the best.

I’ve got to say, that trophy at the end of his tweet totally won me — he thinks being her friend is a prize in itself (and I mean, it is).

While we know Taylor is playing her single game right now, who said there’s no flirting allowed? We know she’s been hanging out with 1975’s Matt Healy, so who says she can’t flirt with Michael too?
