Rihanna’s Secret Album — When She Will Release New Music

Rumors ran wild when Rihanna released a snippet of a new song on her Instagram followed by her brother starting a countdown on Twitter causing many to believe that Ri’s new album would be coming out any day now.

A source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “An announcement of a tour and a release of a video and single is imminent as she has been working hard on her new album, as for a secret album on Black Friday that is not going to happen unless it’s the biggest surprise ever.”

“And with a surprise like what Beyoncé did, she wouldn’t want to copy Beyoncé, she wants to be an innovator herself and go by her own terms. Plus, her brother would not be the one making the announcement or even know that info of an album since that info has been kept in-house with the label,” our insider dished. “Some important people with the label that would know haven’t shown anything that an album would be coming out on Friday. It’s highly unlikely.”

Hopefully she won’t keep us waiting too much longer!

A second source revealed that while Rihanna has not mentioned a new album, there is new music coming. The insider heard two of her new songs and said that they are “sick” and ” have a very different vibe than her past music.” We cannot wait!

Rihanna Teases Brand New Song On Instagram

Rihanna definitely knows how to keep her fans guessing. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, she released a small portion of a new song on Nov. 25, on her Instagram. The brief snippet sounds super edgy and definitely is pumping up her fans for the release of another great album.

While her brother has started a countdown, he has not confirmed that the album will be released. Rihanna herself took to her official Twitter account and said, “ANY news about #R8 will be delivered directly from me!!!!”
