Meghan Trainor Thanksgiving Songs — Watch The Hilarious Clip
Meghan certainly knows how to get everyone in the holiday spirit! On Nov. 25, the singer joined Jimmy Kimmel for a hilarious skit about how incredibly awkward carols about Thanksgiving could be — possibly one of the reasons why there are none!
Jimmy told the audience before showing the clip, “There are literally thousands and thousands of Christmas songs, but I think the closest thing we have to a song for Thanksgiving is the theme from the Golden Girls, and that to me is unacceptable.”
A voice-over then began over pictures of traditional Thanksgiving saying, “All of the warmth, all the memories, all the uncomfortable dinner conversation.” Then Meghan’s could-be classics started with “Uncle Dan Hates Obama (And Won’t Shut Up About Benghazi).”
Other funny titles off of her fake album, “Thanksgiving Carols” included, “The Turkey Is Still Frozen in the Middle” and “Grandma’s a Racist (Pass the Yams).”
At the end of the skit Meghan asked her fans to buy her “new” album “with your money” before winking at the end. So cute!
