Dianna Agron At American Music Awards — Get Her Fresh Skin & Smokey Eyes
Dianna’s look was created by makeup artist Georgie Eisdell. She told HollywoodLife.com: “We went for a sexy, smokey vibe, which is easy with Dianna — she has the eyes for it and her skin is gorgeous.”
Georgie explains exactly how she achieved Dianna’s look.
For the face, Georgie prepped Dianna’s skin with Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate and Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration to keep her skin well hydrated throughout the night. “Because this look was all about her eyes, I prepped the eye area with Kiehl’s Super Multi-Correcting Eye Opening Serum. Just before I started on her base, I used Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin Perfector which puts a soft-focus filter on the skin.”
Georgie then used Kiehl’s Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream in Light to give Dianna an even complexion, and set it with La Mer’s The Powder.
“Dianna’s eyes were the focus. We haven’t used a lot of color lately so I wanted to give her eyes a little something special. I used Chanel’s Illusion D’ombre in Diapason and Fantasme on the lid, blending it up into the crease. I brought it under the eye to create a smoky effect. On the inner rim for depth, I used Tarte’s Deep Amethyst Pencil.”
Georgie then applied two coats of YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara in Black, “making sure the roots were coated really well to give extra depth to the lash line.”
To add soft but warm color to Dianna’s face, Georgie applied NARS Blush in Madly on her cheeks.
“I finished off her look with Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 first, then Jouer’s Lip Shine in Maui.”
Dianna Agrons’s Hair At AMAs — Sexy Updo
Jenny Cho, Suave Professionals Celebrity Stylist, created her updo.
She told HollywoodLife.com: “I wanted tonight’s look to be fun and playful. Her ultra-chic black dress called for a loose updo, pulled back with three elastic headbands, which added something a little different and a point of focus.”
“Texture is the most important element of this look. Prep hair with a flat iron to create a flat wave into the entire head.
Once hair has cooled, spray Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Weightless Dry Shampoo all over for extra grit, and then mist Suave Professionals Natural Infusion Moisturizing Oil Spray to add shine back into the hair.
Divide hair into two sections and pull the top half into a ponytail right under the crown. Tease the loose bottom hair with a comb for added texture, and then loosely and randomly gather around the pony tail. You’ll want loose pieces to fall so it looks easy and effortless.
Once the hair is up, put in the first elastic headband pretty close to the front hairline. Add another one but crisscross the second headband, and then add one more. Lock the final look in with Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Extra Hold Hairspray for a lasting finish.”
