Willow Shields’ Hair At ‘Hunger Games’ Premiere — Get Her Voluminous Waves
Willow plays Katniss’ little sister Primrose Everdeen, but she didn’t look so little anymore with her hair and makeup done at the premiere! With Willow’s hair usually worn in braids in the movies, we were amazed at how different she looked with her hair down and loose.
Here’s how to get the look.Hairstylist Ryan Richman spills on the inspiration: “It was such a glamorous dress that I wanted to offset it with a more natural feel to keep her look youthful.”
Start by rubbing a few drops of KMS California TAMEFRIZZ De-Frizz Oil on damp hair to prevent frizz while your hair dries.
Then, to achieve volume in your hairstyle, spritz KMS California ADDVOLUME Volumizing Spray into your hair. Run your fingers through your ends and your roots to distribute the product and create lift. What’s great about this spray is that it also doubles as a heat protectant.
Blow your hair dry and then create a deep side part. Then take a 1 1/2″ to 2″ curling iron and wrap small sections of hair around the wand. Don’t keep the hair wrapped around for too long — Willow’s waves are quite loose.
Run a flat brush through your hair to make the waves even softer. Lastly, set your hair with KMS California HAIRSTAY Medium Hold Spray.
Willow Shields’s ‘Mockingjay’ Premiere Makeup — Natural Glam
Willow’s makeup was kept simple and natural looking. A champagne color was washed over her lids and painted in her inner tear ducts. A medium golden brown was blended softly into her crease and shaded under her lash line. Mascara was added for the finishing touch!
