DJ Rashad Hayes: Favorite Fall Songs
DJ Rashad Hayes is known for his amazing playlists of popular songs. We asked the celeb DJ that stars love how he picks the songs that go into his playlists.
He told us EXCLUSIVELY, “I create my playlists to shed light on positive artists such as The Roots, Mos Def, & J Dilla. In addition to being the life of the party in clubs & providing the cool factor at events, I believe DJ’s also have a role as culture curators & teachers.”
One of his favorite jams at the moment is “Try Me” by Dej Loaf. He said this track is “going to be a big hit going into the winter.” Another tune he is currently loving is “Pretend” by Tinashe ft. ASAP Rocky. He explained that Tinashe is “the future of music” and he “would love to work with her” someday soon!
DJ Rashad is also loving a bonus track off his playlist called “Can’t Stop” by Theophilus London ft. Kanye West. He told us, “That track makes you not want to listen to any other songs for a while after hearing it. It is very catchy and very creative. Theophilis is a very forward-thinking artist and Kanye handling executive producer credits on his new album is just so perfect.”
