Timbaland, 42, isn’t holding back his feelings on the Lifetime biopic, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B, starring Alexandra Shipp, 23. The producer and musician voiced his anger about the tribute to his late friend. He called the movie “bullsh*t” and posted countless memes and videos mocking the biopic.
Timbaland Disses Aaliyah Movie
If you take a look at Timbaland’s Instagram page, it’s clear he did not care for the Lifetime movie about his friend, Aaliyah, who tragically lost her life in a plane crash in 2001.
He posted a series of memes dissing the movie before sharing a series of Instagram videos.

“A lot of people keep asking me if I’m watching that bullsh*t,” he said in his first video. “Evidently not. No way. Not Timbo.”
Timbaland continued to post more memes throughout the night that could easily be found on social media.
He posted another video and talked about his “wrath” towards the tribute. “This is my last post,” he continued. “This sh*t has been funny tonight. Very funny, y’all. They will feel my wrath tomorrow morning. Goodbye.”
But he wasn’t done yet. Fans shared his opinions over the biopic and he felt the need to post another video. “People, thanks for the comments tonight on that bullsh*t Aaliyah movie,” he said. “They have felt Timbo’s wrath tonight, baby. And that’s it.”
He would end up posting two more videos that included his strong feelings.
Timbaland wasn’t the only one who felt the need to diss the Lifetime biopic. The movie became multiple trending topics on Twitter, but not for the right reasons.
Fans voiced their outrage on Twitter, but many starting dissing Lifetime biopics in general. Twitter users began thinking of other Lifetime biopics as a way to spoof the movie. Taylor Swift, 24, Beyonce, 33, Jay Z, 44, and more celebs were featured in the trends. To be honest, the memes were downright hilarious!
