Justin Bieber was one smart cookie to release such a romantic song — it’s the perfect way to win Selena Gomez back! On Nov. 11, Justin and Cody Simpson released their new single, ‘Home to Mama,’ and it was clearly a message to his on-again off-again love.
Following Selena Gomez‘s release of “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” the message was loud and clear — she would always love Justin Bieber. However, it sounds like that’s mutual. And at HollywoodLife.com, we know that, more than anything, she wanted to him to get back to work! And On Nov. 11, he proved that that’s exactly what he’s been doing with his new song.
Selena Gomez: Justin Bieber’s ‘Home To Mama’ Is For You
“Home to Mama” was recorded on June 10, as we remember Cody Simpson tweeting at the time about a “love” song they had written together. Plus, we know it’s about Selena since the next day he publicly talked about their “unconditional love.”
So, what’s the thing that kept breaking up Justin and Selena? Well it was really important to her that he get back to work, and that he commit. By releasing a new song all about her, it’s proving he’s doing both of those things.
Not sure it’s about Selena? I mean, here are some lyrics:
“I never believed in love till I had yours / This is more than a season, and I’m not just sprung. I’m not afraid to tell ya, that you are the one / The one I wake up thinking ’bout, the one I can run to when I’m felling down / Life is all good when you’re around.”
Justin Proves His Heart Wants Selena Back
“I want you ’til the world ends / You’re way more than worth it, but I don’t feel like I deserve it / You got the pieces, you’re my kind of perfect,” he sings.
In Selena’s emotional video for “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” she sings about how she feels like she doesn’t get treated the way she should, but she continues to go back — so his “I don’t feel like I deserve it” line totally fits.
In the end, the heart does want what it wants and it looks like Justin’s sending a pretty loud and clear message to Selena with this new song. Basically, he wants to take her home to mama. Do you think she should take him back, HollywoodLifers?
